Why extend the trial period of the weighing module

In the process of using weighing modules, it may be found that some weighing modules have been used for a very long time, but some weighing modules may need to be replaced after six months or a year of use. This is mainly due to the lack of daily maintenance. So, how can weighing modules be maintained to extend their service life?

The general on-site situation can be summarized as follows during daily maintenance:
1. The cleaning work on the surface of the module involves removing impurities from the module. For example, we need to clean up the dust and impurities on the junction box. The main purpose is to ensure that the scale body of the module is floating, as only floating platforms without card holders can measure accurately
2. Regularly inspect and clean the module to prevent impurities from accumulating on the material tank, module, and junction box. Ensure that the scale body is floating and free from mechanical contact, jamming, and other phenomena. Any changes in the mechanical structure of the material tank may affect the accuracy of weighing. Check the connecting rod, limit rod, and buffer, leaving sufficient clearance to avoid collisions.

3. Check whether the junction box is sealed, whether various wires are firmly connected, and whether there is moisture or foreign objects inside or around the junction box. Check whether the instrument cable is damaged, whether it is fixed on the scale body, and whether the sensor center bears the force.
The common maintenance methods are to regularly clean up debris and place the module in a suitable working environment, which is also part of maintenance.

In addition, the maintenance methods required for different usage scenarios are different. When choosing a weighing module, we can explain our actual application situation to the manufacturer, and the manufacturer can generally provide a reasonable daily maintenance plan.
