Diesel engine pressure sensor - High pressure common rail pressure sensor
Diesel engine pressure sensor - High pressure common rail pressure sensor
The high-pressure common rail pressure sensor is used in diesel engines, so before understanding the high-pressure common rail pressure sensor, it is necessary to understand the working principle of the diesel engine. As the name suggests, diesel engines obtain energy by burning diesel, causing it to move and complete its work.
The advantages of diesel engines are high torque and good economic performance. The working process of a diesel engine has many similarities with a gasoline engine, with each working cycle going through four strokes: intake, compression, power, and exhaust. However, due to the fact that diesel engines use diesel fuel, which has a higher viscosity than gasoline and is less prone to evaporation, and has a lower self ignition temperature than gasoline, the formation and ignition of combustible mixtures are different from those of gasoline engines.
The main difference is that the mixture in the cylinder of a diesel engine is compression ignition, rather than ignition. When a diesel engine is working, air enters the cylinder. When the air in the cylinder is compressed to the end point, the temperature can reach 500-700 ℃ and the pressure can reach 40-50 atmospheres. When the piston approaches the top dead center, the fuel injector of the fuel supply system injects fuel into the combustion chamber of the cylinder at extremely high pressure in a very short period of time. Diesel forms fine oil particles, which mix with high-pressure and high-temperature air. The combustible mixture burns on its own, violently expands to produce explosive force, and pushes the piston down to do work. At this time, the temperature can reach 1900-2000 ℃ and the pressure can reach 60-100 atmospheres, generating a large torque. Therefore, diesel engines are widely used in large diesel equipment.
So where does the high-pressure common rail pressure sensor function?
The high pressure in the common rail chamber acting on the diesel engine cylinder is directly used for injection, eliminating the need for a boost mechanism in the injector.
The high-pressure common rail electronic injection technology of Nanjing Wotian refers to a fuel supply method that completely separates the generation of injection pressure from the injection process in a closed-loop system composed of high-pressure oil pump, pressure sensor, and electronic control unit (ECU). This series of sensors is divided into A and B structures, namely PCM36A series and PVM368 series, with a wide measurement range and is widely used in the control system unit of diesel vehicles.
