3. Installation requirements for weighing module

3.1. Strength of material tank structure, requirements for foundation installation, and requirements for pipeline connection

1: Requirements and design suggestions for silo structure strength:

A: For lumbar support tanks, it is recommended to perform local reinforcement on the protruding ears, including tank reinforcement and protruding ear reinforcement; Under full load conditions, the angular deformation is less than 0.5 degrees.

B: For the load-bearing support of the supporting ring structure, it is recommended to add local reinforcement bars at the installation location of the module, and the overall strength of the steel structure must meet the bending deformation between adjacent support points under full load within 1/1000.

2: Installation requirements for weighing module:

A: It is recommended to embed or weld steel plates below the weighing module, and the cement foundation or steel structure below the corresponding steel plate must meet the load-bearing capacity of the corresponding module tonnage.

B: The embedded plate or steel structure platform connected to the weighing module should have a local flatness of 1mm below the module, and a flatness of 3mm between multiple points.

C: The equipment connected to the weighing module has a single point flatness of 1mm and a multi-point flatness of 3mm.

D: If there is a steel structure frame below the weighing module, the ratio of vertical deformation to the distance between the two fixed ends must be less than 1/1000. If the requirements cannot be met, it is recommended to perform local reinforcement, as shown in the following figure:

3: Pipeline connection:

The pipeline connected to the measuring tank must be connected with a hose. Flexible hoses can be selected according to specific process requirements, such as corrugated pipes, rubber hoses, etc. As shown in the picture:

3.2. Basic requirements for installation of weighing module

The installation foundation of the weighing module should meet the following requirements:

The support feet of the module base plate should be horizontal.

The angle between the support feet connected to the module top and bottom plates and the horizontal plane cannot exceed 0.5 °.

Is the base of each container shared with other containers? If shared, it will affect the weighing of the containers. It is recommended to use a separate base for each container.

The installation base of each module should have an appropriate drainage system

Is there any vibration or airflow near the container? Larger vibrations or airflow can affect the weighing of the container.

Each module should be easy to install and maintain.

There should be a loading position on the container for adding test weights or weights during calibration.

A device should be provided to place test weights or weights at the loading position of the container.

I suggest selecting the installation location of the junction box according to the requirements of the scale. (It is prohibited to install junction boxes in the moving parts of the scale body)

Different installation positions or forms of modules may result in overload or abnormal loads.

After meeting all the above requirements, begin module installation. If it does not meet the requirements, it must be improved.

3.3. Installation of weighing module

Check if the sensor capacity matches the load capacity, and all modules should bear the load evenly.

Adjust the levelness of each module, and the inclination angle between the connection surface of each module and the horizontal plane in the length and width directions should not exceed 0.5 °.

Slowly lower the container onto the module.

When adjusting the module top plate, if the inclination angle between the top plate and the horizontal plane in the length and width directions is greater than 0.5 °, stainless steel gaskets can be installed between the top plate and its connecting surface.

The top plate, bottom plate, and container of the module can be connected by bolts or welding.

If welding is used, the welding requirements shall be subject to the specific construction drawings.

After confirming that all top and bottom plates are connected, slowly unscrew the nuts and retaining rings on the supporting bolts to apply the load to the sensor through the top plate and load transmission device.

Adjust the gap between the support bolt and its nut and the top plate slot.

After installing the junction box, the sensor cable should be able to be easily connected. (The junction box cannot be installed on the scale body)

Connect the sensor cable and junction box correctly according to the cable color code.

Connect the junction box to the instrument.

The connection between the container and the conveyor is tight and flexible.
